...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 AM EDT THIS MORNING... ...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...A portion of north central Ohio, including the following counties, Marion and Morrow. * WHEN...Until 1130 AM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 526 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms fell across the warned area overnight. Flooding is ongoing. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected through this morning. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Marion, Mount Gilead, Cardington, Caledonia, Edison and Iberia. - The Whetstone Creek is flooded near Mount Gilead. At 430 AM the creek was at 10.78 feet.
