...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM EDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana, including the following
counties, De Kalb, Noble and Steuben and northwest Ohio, including
the following county, Williams.

* WHEN...Until 200 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1153 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Auburn, Kendallville, Garrett, Montpelier, Butler, Avilla,
Waterloo, Hamilton, Edon, Columbia, West Jefferson, Ashley,
Hudson, Corunna, Altona, Blakeslee, Hamilton Lake,
Steubenville, Alvarado and Artic.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Tiffin River at Stryker.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Flood waters begin to affect some farm
buildings near Stryker and flood some secondary roads.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM EDT Friday the stage was 13.4 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:00 PM EDT Friday was 13.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 13.7 feet early Monday
morning. It will then fall Monday evening. It will rise to
13.6 feet early Tuesday afternoon. It will then fall again
but remain above flood stage.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT TO WEDNESDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Saint Joseph River Ohio below Montpelier.

* WHEN...From late tonight to Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, County Road K, one mile southwest of
Montpelier is flooded. Flood waters affect the southeast side of
Pioneer and cover large areas of low land and agricultural land
near the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 AM EDT Friday the stage was 11.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
just after midnight tonight to a crest of 14.0 feet early
Sunday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
