...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING TO LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Cuyahoga River at Old Portage.

* WHEN...From this evening to late tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Floodwaters will begin to affect areas
along the Cuyahoga River in Cuyahoga Falls and in Munroe Falls
near Kennedy Park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 5:15 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 10.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 11.2 feet this evening. It
will then fall below flood stage late this evening to 9.5
feet tomorrow morning. It will rise to 10.4 feet tomorrow
evening. It will then fall again and remain below flood
stage.
- Flood stage is 10.5 feet.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Ohio, including the following
counties, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Medina, Portage and Summit.

* WHEN...Until 815 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 449 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Flooding
is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.
Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
the warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Cleveland, Akron, Medina, Painesville, Willowick, Ravenna,
Chardon, Fairport Harbor, Parma, Lakewood, Cuyahoga Falls,
Euclid, Mentor, Cleveland Heights, Strongsville, Brunswick,
Westlake, North Royalton, Kent and Solon.

counties, Mahoning, Portage, Stark, Summit and Trumbull.

* WHEN...Until 745 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 445 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This will
cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch
of rain has fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Akron, Youngstown, Warren, Ravenna, Boardman, Kent,
Barberton, Green, Alliance, Niles, Tallmadge, North Canton,
Campbell, Hubbard, Canfield, Cortland, Newton Falls,
Mogadore, Lordstown and Hartville.
