...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM EDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...The following counties, in Indiana, Dearborn, Franklin, Ripley and Union and the following counties, in Ohio, Butler, Hamilton, Montgomery, Preble and Warren. * WHEN...Until 645 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 332 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Hamilton, Middletown, Fairfield, Mason, Oxford, Miamisburg, Forest Park, Sharonville, Monroe, Blue Ash, Trenton, Franklin, Springdale, Harrison, Batesville, Carlisle, Brookville, Bright, South Middletown and West Chester. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. ...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT... * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...The following counties, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, the following counties, in Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Fairfield, Fayette, Greene, Hamilton, Highland, Hocking, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto and Warren. * WHEN...Through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Occasional showers and thunderstorms will continue into early evening.
