...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...River and stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of northwest Ohio, including the following county, Ottawa. * WHEN...Until 415 PM EDT Friday. * IMPACTS...The Portage River continues to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 434 AM EDT, river gauge reports indicate the river was at 14.0 feet and flooding will continue along the Portage River near Elmore. The river should crest this morning and slowly start to recede this afternoon. - At 14.0 feet, moderate flooding is expected with some homes near State Route 105 threatened. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Oak Harbor and Elmore. - Please visit www.weather.gov/safety/flood for flood safety and preparedness information. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
