...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM EDT THURSDAY... ...REPLACES FLOOD WARNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Ohio, including the following counties, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Medina, Portage and Summit. * WHEN...Until 1215 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 804 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Cleveland, Akron, Medina, Painesville, Willowick, Ravenna, Chardon, Fairport Harbor, Parma, Lakewood, Cuyahoga Falls, Euclid, Mentor, Cleveland Heights, Strongsville, Brunswick, Westlake, North Royalton, Kent and Solon. - Please visit www.weather.gov/safety/flood for flood safety and preparedness information.
