MORNING FOR SOUTH CENTRAL ASHLAND, NORTHERN KNOX, NORTHEASTERN
MORROW, SOUTHERN RICHLAND AND WESTERN HOLMES COUNTIES...

At 143 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain.  Flooding is ongoing or expected
along the Clear Fork of the Mohican River and the Black Fork near
Loudonville. Stay away from rivers and creeks where rapid rises are
occurring. Between 2.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional
rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned
area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Mansfield, Mount Gilead, Galion, Lexington, Loudonville,

Nashville, Waterford, Butler, Perrysville, Lucas, Gann, North

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Killbuck Creek near Killbuck.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Private property on Water Street in the
Village of Killbuck flooded. Several county and local roads
impassable including State Route 60 south and County Road 621.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:00 PM EDT Friday the stage was 16.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.2
feet tomorrow evening.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
17.2 feet on 01/25/1937.
