...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...The following counties, in Kentucky, Bracken, Lewis, Mason, Pendleton and Robertson and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams, Brown, Clermont, Highland and Pike. * WHEN...Until 430 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 121 PM EDT, Radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Maysville, Georgetown, Washington, West Union, Manchester, Peebles, Ripley, Aberdeen, Augusta, Winchester, Seaman, Lewisburg, Brooksville, Higginsport, Belfast, Emerald, Decatur, Russellville, Mount Olivet and Dover. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
