...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...The following counties, in southwest Ohio, Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren. * WHEN...Until 1000 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 721 PM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Hamilton, Fairfield, Mason, Lebanon, Forest Park, Sharonville, Blue Ash, Loveland, Springdale, Montgomery, Blanchester, West Chester, Morrow, Kings Island, Sixteen Mile Stand, Highpoint, Brecon, Remington, Four Bridges and Wetherington. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
