...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST MONDAY... * WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations between 3 and 9 inches, heaviest across southern and eastern Cuyahoga County, far southern Lake County, inland Ashtabula County and much of Geauga County. Locations near Lake Erie will see the lower end of the accumulation range. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. * WHERE...Ashtabula Inland, Ashtabula Lakeshore, Cuyahoga, Geauga, and Lake Counties. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow on Sunday. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Lake effect snow squalls are expected to be most intense late tonight through Sunday afternoon. Snow squalls may produce near zero visibility and snow rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour at times on Sunday, especially in the higher terrain inland from Lake Erie. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
