Flooding also affects Buckeye Lake Estates. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:45 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 879.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 880.2 feet late this evening. ...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING... * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...The following counties, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette IN, Franklin IN, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union IN and Wayne, the following counties, in Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette OH, Franklin OH, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union OH and Warren. * WHEN...Through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional thunderstorms are expected into Wednesday morning. Locally heavy rainfall and the potential for storms to repeatedly track over the same areas are possible. This will result in the potential for flash flooding. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... ...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EDT WEDNESDAY... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall over the last 24 hours has occurred. * WHERE...The following counties, in Central Ohio, Fairfield and Hocking. * WHEN...Until 100 AM EDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain flooded or closed. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 656 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain has fallen over the last 24 hours. Flooding is ongoing in the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen this afternoon on already saturated soils. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Lancaster, Logan, Nelsonville, Bremen, Pleasantville, Hide-A- Way Hills, Hocking Hills State Park, Starr, Royalton, Lithopolis, Amanda, Stoutsville, Laurelville, Carroll, Murray City, Sugar Grove, Rushville, West Rushville, Rockbridge and Enterprise. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
