...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM FRIDAY TO 7 AM EST SATURDAY... * WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 15 below expected. * WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and northwest Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania. * WHEN...From 6 AM Friday to 7 AM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in frostbite and hypothermia if precautions are not taken. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Windy conditions behind a cold front with plummeting temperatures should be expected Friday morning through Friday evening. Friday night, winds ease, but temperatures will drop below zero through Saturday morning. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside. ...WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations in excess of 6 inches. * WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania. * WHEN...From Saturday evening through Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes, and the Monday morning commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snow is expected on Sunday. Sub-zero wind chills are expected Saturday night into Sunday morning, and again Sunday night into Monday morning. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation. Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains, booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing. Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would help you survive in case you become stranded.
