Until 845 PM EST....

At 722 PM EST, radar indicated expanding snow showers across the
region. This included a heavier band extending from 9 miles
southeast of Ashtabula to near Chesterland to near Lakewood, moving
southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARDS INCLUDE...
Winds to 40 mph...
Visibility dropping to less than three quarters of a mile... Locally
up to 2 inches of quick snow accumulation with the highest across
the snowbelt east of Cleveland...

Motorists traveling on Interstates 77, 90, 271, 480, and 80 should
use caution and slow down as snow increases.

Locations impacted include...
Cleveland, Akron, Lorain, Elyria, Warren, Medina, Painesville,
Ashtabula, Willowick, Conneaut, Ravenna, Vermilion, Chardon, Fairport
Harbor, Geneva-On-The-Lake, Parma, Lakewood, Cuyahoga Falls, Euclid,
and Mentor.

Use extra caution if you must travel. Rapid changes in visibility and
potentially slick roads may lead to accidents.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM EST
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected. Additional snow
accumulations between 1 and 3 inches with locally higher amounts
possible in the higher terrain of the snowbelt. Winds gusting as
high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Ohio.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow
can reduce visibility this evening and tonight. The hazardous
conditions could impact the evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...After a few hours of dry weather this
afternoon, snow showers and squalls, wind gusts up to 45 mph, and
falling temperatures will lead to blowing and drifting snow and
hazardous road conditions this evening.

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills of 15 to 24 below expected.

* WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and northwest Ohio.

* WHEN...From 1 AM to noon EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause
frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wind chill values may drop as low as 15 below
zero again late Saturday night into Sunday morning for portions of
Northeast Ohio and additional cold weather advisories may be
issued.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
