* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Minor flood stage. Water overflows onto
Route 5S near Fort Herkimer and farm fields are flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:30 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 15.6 feet and falling.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
this evening and continue falling to 11.2 feet Sunday
morning.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* WHERE...West Canada Creek at Hinckley.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 1228.0 feet, Moderate flood stage. Three feet of
water are spilling over and there is widespread flooding
downstream between Hinckley and Herkimer. Route 28 from White
Creek Road To Mechanic Street In Newport is closed due to water
over the roadway.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 1228.9 feet and
falling.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 1227.2 feet
Sunday morning.
