Snow will continue into the early morning hours. The snow will mainly be light, but could briefly become moderate at times with snowfall rates briefly reaching one half inch per hour at times. Snowfall accumulations of 1-2 inches are expected with the highest amounts across the east end of Long Island and eastern New Haven and Middlesex counties. Roads will become snow covered and slippery. Use extra caution if traveling overnight.
