...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 1 AM EST SATURDAY... * WHAT...South to southwest winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected for tonight into early Friday and westerly winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected for late Friday morning through late Friday evening. * WHERE...Portions of northwestern Connecticut, western Massachusetts, eastern New York, and southern Vermont. * WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 1 AM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and some power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest winds gusts within the south to southwesterly flow tonight into early Friday morning will be across the higher elevations of the southern Greens of Vermont, Berkshires of Massachusetts, eastern Catskills and Taconics of eastern New York and the Litchfield Hills of northwest Connecticut. All areas will see widespread strong gusty winds very late Friday morning through late Friday evening. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
