* WHAT...Less than 1 ft of inundation above ground level
expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline.

* WHERE...Bronx, Northwest Suffolk, Northern Queens and Northern
Nassau Counties.

* WHEN...From 8 AM this morning to 1 PM EST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...

* COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...Brief minor flooding of the most
vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heavy rain during the time of high tide
may exacerbate flood impacts. This forecast is leaned towards
a higher end flood impact scenario, to account for slower
trend in cold frontal passage and potential coincidence with
heavy rain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive through flooded roadways.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey,
and southeast New York.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

seas 5 to 8 feet. Isolated gusts up to 50 kt possible Friday
morning. Winds will shift from southwest to west Friday
afternoon.

* WHERE...Long Island Sound, New York Harbor, Peconic and
Gardiners Bays, and South Shore Bays from Jones Inlet through
Shinnecock Bay.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
