For the Small Craft Advisory, W winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and seas 3 to 5 ft expected. For the Gale Watch, W winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 35 kt and seas 4 to 6 ft possible. * WHERE...Long Island Sound east of Port Jefferson and New Haven, and Peconic and Gardiners Bays. * WHEN...For the Dense Fog Advisory, until 11 PM EST this evening. For the Small Craft Advisory, until 6 AM EST Friday. For the Gale Watch, from Friday morning through Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
