* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values
potentially exceeding 105 degrees.

* WHERE...Litchfield County in northwestern Connecticut and the mid
Hudson River Valley, southern and central Taconics, the Capital
Region, and the Upper Hudson Valley and Glens Falls area.

* WHEN...From Monday morning through Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...The risk for heat related illnesses increases
significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...An extended period of extreme heat and
humidity will occur Monday and Tuesday. The worst of the heat and
humidity potentially occurs on these days when heat indices may
reach 105 to 110 degrees.
