2 PM EDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and
11 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Hamilton and Northern Herkimer Counties.

* WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 2 PM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. Heavy snow will reduce
visibility to less than a half mile at times. Maximum snowfall
rates will reach 1 inch per hour at times.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will develop late this morning into
early afternoon and will become heavy at times. Snow will persist
in most areas tonight into early Saturday afternoon.
