Water begins to back up into smaller creeks such as Ransom, Black, Beeman, Gott, and Mud Creeks. Flooding in some low lying areas along Tonawanda Creek Road, Rapids Road, and Wolcott Road, with widespread farmland flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:00 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 10.28 feet and rising. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 14.8 feet just after midnight tonight. Also some flooding along the flood control project area in Amherst such as the bike path and golf course. Minor flooding in Ellicott Creek Park.
