Waves 2 to 4 feet on ice free waters. For the Freezing Spray Advisory, moderate accumulation of freezing spray. * WHERE...New York Harbor, including Raritan Bay and Sandy Hook Bay, and Peconic and Gardiners Bays. * WHEN...For the Gale Warning, until 6 AM EST Sunday. For the Freezing Spray Advisory, until noon EST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Operating a vessel in freezing spray is hazardous. Freezing spray may render mechanical and electronic components inoperative. Ice accretion on decks and superstructures may result in some loss of stability. Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. For the Wind Advisory, northwest winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. * WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey and southeast New York. * WHEN...For the Extreme Cold Warning, until 1 PM EST Sunday. For the Wind Advisory, until midnight EST tonight. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects.
