Additional snow accumulations of 1/4 to to 1 inch, highest across Nassau County. 3 to 5 inches, with localized 6 inches, storm total snow accumulation. * WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey and southeast New York. * WHEN...Until 1 PM EST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow ending across NYC/NJ metro this morning, and midday for Nassau County. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Slow down and use caution while traveling. Check local Department of Transportation information services for the latest road conditions. Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways.
