* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Honeoye Creek near Honeoye Falls.

* WHEN...Until late tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Moderate flood, residential flooding begins
along Route 65 and along Rittenhouse Drive and Creekside Drive in
Honeoye Falls and Factory Hollow Road in West Bloomfield. Farmland
flooded between Honeoye Falls and Rush.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:30 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 7.14 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 6.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 4:30 AM EDT Wednesday was 7.26 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 7.3
feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage late
this evening.
- Flood stage is 6.5 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
7.3 feet on 03/04/1976.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Heavy rain yesterday produced widespread 1 to 2 inch
rainfall amounts, with localized amounts of over 3 inches where
thunderstorms repeated over the same areas. The heavy rain has
ended, but water will remain high in low lying areas, creeks, and
rivers today.

* WHERE...Portions of central and western New York, including the
following counties, in central New York, Northern Cayuga. In
western New York, Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Genesee,
Livingston, Monroe, Niagara, Northern Erie, Ontario, Orleans,
Southern Erie, Wayne and Wyoming.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff will result in ongoing flooding of
rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone
locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Water levels will remain high today on area rivers and
creeks, and in low lying areas. Most smaller creeks and low
lying areas will see improving conditions today as high water
drains. Larger rivers and creeks will continue to run high
today.
