This gust front was located along a line extending from 7 nm northwest of Essex Village to 8 nm north of Madison Reef to near The Thimbles to Port Jefferson Harbor, moving southeast at 40 knots. The gust front will be near... Central Long Island Sound, Herod Point, The Thimbles, Falkner Island, Madison Reef, and Essex Village around 955 PM EDT. Mouth of the Connecticut River and Westbrook Center around 1000 PM EDT. Six Mile Reef around 1005 PM EDT. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
