* WHAT...Surf building to 6 to 10 ft along the Atlantic
oceanfront.

* WHERE...Southwest Suffolk, Southeast Suffolk, Southern Queens
and Southern Nassau Counties.

* WHEN...Through Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Large breaking waves will result in beach flooding
and erosion with only minor damage expected to dune
structures. Life-threatening rip currents are likely for all
people entering the surf zone. Stay out of the water.

Do not drive through flooded roadways.
