...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations
between 1 to 2 feet, with localized higher amounts. Winds gusting
as high as 50 mph will create widespread blowing snow, which could
significantly reduce visibility.

* WHERE...Madison, Northern Oneida, Onondaga, and Southern Oneida
Counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Visibilities likely drop below 1/4 mile due to falling
and blowing snow. Whiteout conditions are expected and will make
travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Occasional
blizzard conditions are likely to occur. Travel could be very
difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the
Tuesday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds could bring down
tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour
