...A SHOWER OVER THE WATERS... The areas affected include... Lake Ontario from Hamlin Beach to Selkirk Beach... At 957 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a line of showers stretching from just northeast of Hamlin Beach eastward to near Selkirk Beach, moving east to east-southeast at 25 knots. This line of showers will be capable of producing waterspouts. Locations impacted include... Oswego, Mexico Bay, Ontario Beach, Ontario On The Lake, Sodus Bay, Irondequoit Bay, and Fair Haven. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Showers can produce waterspouts with little or no advance warning. Avoid this line of showers if at all possible, as waterspouts cannot be seen at night. &&
