...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST WEDNESDAY... * WHAT...Lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph will lead to blowing and drifting snow and reduced visibility. * WHERE...Schoharie, Montgomery, Northern Fulton, and Southern Fulton Counties. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A band of lake effect snow will slowly lift northward through tonight, impacting the Thruway corridor late this afternoon into the overnight hours. The band will lift north of the Thruway into Fulton County late tonight then north of Fulton County by early Wednesday afternoon. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
