forecast.

* WHERE...West Canada Creek at Hinckley.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 1228.0 feet, Moderate flood stage. Three feet of
water are spilling over and there is widespread flooding
downstream between Hinckley and Herkimer. Route 28 from White
Creek Road To Mechanic Street in Newport is closed due to water
over the roadway.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 1228.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 1225.6 feet early
Sunday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 1227.0 feet.
