expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline
along the eastern Great South Bay.

* WHERE...Southeast Suffolk County.

* WHEN...For the first Coastal Flood Statement, until 6 PM EDT
this evening. For the second Coastal Flood Statement, from 2
AM EDT Friday through Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...Brief minor flooding of the more
vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive through flooded roadways.

* WHAT...Southwest winds 25 to 30 kt with gusts up to 45 kt and

* WHERE...New York Harbor, including Raritan Bay and Sandy Hook
Bay, and South Shore Bays from Jones Inlet through Shinnecock
Bay.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
