Total snow accumulations 3 to 5 inches across the higher terrain, but only 1 to 2 inches for lower elevations. * WHERE...The Eastern Lake Ontario Region. The greatest snow accumulations will be limited to the higher terrain of the Tug Hill Plateau and western foothills of the Adirondacks. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Plan on snow covered and slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will result in slippery roads and limited visibilities. Slow down and use caution while driving.
