Special Weather Statement
Issued: 7:49 AM Mar. 4, 2026 – National Weather Service
...Areas of fog and black ice this morning... Areas of fog will persist across much of the area through early this morning...and will help to maintain existing wet ground conditions. Coupled with temperatures around or a little below freezing...this will allow wet roads, bridges, parking lots, driveways and sidewalks to become icy in spots. If you will be out and about this morning...be careful for black ice and slick spots on area roadways, bridges, overpasses, parking lots, driveways, and sidewalks...particularly where these surfaces have not been treated. The black ice threat will come to an end by mid to late morning as the fog dissipates, road surfaces dry out, and temperatures rise above freezing.
