* WHAT...For the Lake Effect Snow Warning, heavy lake effect snow.
Additional snow accumulations 2 to 5 inches in the most persistent
lake snows across far southern Jefferson County and far western
Lewis County. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy lake effect snow
possible. Total snow accumulations of more than 7 inches possible
in the most persistent lake snows.

* WHERE...Jefferson and Lewis Counties. The greatest accumulations
this morning will be across far southern Jefferson County and far
western Lewis County.

* WHEN...For the Lake Effect Snow Warning, until 1 PM EST this
afternoon. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Monday morning through
Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally
heavy snow with greatly reduced visibilities to dry conditions just
a few miles away. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather,
visibility, and road conditions.
