...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of western New York, including the following
counties, Allegany, Livingston and Wyoming.

* WHEN...Until 1030 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. A few roads
remain closed due to flooding including roads near Canaseraga
Creek in northeast Allegany county and Keshequa Creek in southwest
Livingston county.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 606 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding from
heavy rain in the warned area. Between 0.75 and 2 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are possible in
the warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Letchworth State Park, Perry, Warsaw, Mount Morris,
Portageville, Nunda, Covington, Castile, Ossian, Silver
Springs, Canaseraga, Leicester, Wyoming, Gainesville, Silver
Lake, Hunt, Dalton, Perry Center, Sonyea and Swain.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
