Low lying areas in the Town of Verona, and near Oneida Castle, flood. No homes, businesses, or infrastructure are affected. At 11.5 feet, Water spreads across Highland Avenue, cutting off some residences from accessing Prospect Street. Low lying areas in the Town of Verona north of Sconondoa Street flood as water backs up along Sconondoa Creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:15 PM EDT Friday the stage was 2.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rapidly rise above flood stage this evening to a crest of 11.8 feet.
