* WHAT...For the Storm Watch, west winds 30 to 40 kt with gusts up
to 50 kt. Seas 7 to 10 feet possible on the ocean. For the Low
Water Advisory, abnormally low water levels expected.

* WHERE...New York Harbor, South Shore Bays from Jones Inlet
through Shinnecock Bay and Sandy Hook NJ to Fire Island Inlet
NY out 20 nm.

* WHEN...For the Storm Watch, from Wednesday evening through
Thursday morning. For the Low Water Advisory, from midnight
Wednesday night to 4 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Storm force winds and hazardous seas could capsize
or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Below normal water
levels will result in hazardous navigating conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should prepare to remain in port, alter course, and/or
