...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EDT SUNDAY... * WHAT...Sustained northeast winds 15 to 25 mph, locally up to 25-30 mph. Wind gusts 35-40 mph, locally up to 45 mph. * WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey, and southeast New York. * WHEN...Until 6 AM EDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strong winds will last for a very long duration, possibly exceeding 24-36 hours. Considering the long duration rain fall and full foliage of trees, impacts may be exacerbated. The highest localized winds are expected to occur on eastern Long Island and southern New London county. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects. &&

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM EDT SUNDAY... * WHAT...Minor to locally moderate tidal flooding is expected around the times of high tide from Saturday into Sunday. * WHERE...The Hudson River in Westchester, Rockland, Orange and Putnam counties in southeastern New York... * WHEN...Until 200 PM EDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Minor to locally moderate tidal flooding in low lying areas along the river around the times of high tide. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 612 AM EDT, Water levels along the Hudson River will increase with successive high tide cycles.
