...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of central New York, including the following areas, Northern Oneida and Southern Oneida. * WHEN...From 2 PM EDT this afternoon through Thursday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff from heavy rain and snowmelt may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Ice jams will also be possible in areas where significant ice remains. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Between three quarters of an inch and an inch of rain is expected Wednesday through Thursday morning. This combined with warm weather will result in significant snowmelt.
