HAZARDS...A band of heavy snow accompanied by winds of up to 30 MPH which can rapidly reduce visibility to less than one mile. LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 554 PM EST, a band of heavy snow was over Guilderland, or over Colonie moving northeast at 25 MPH. LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE... Albany, Schenectady, Troy, Clifton Park, Rotterdam, East Greenbush, Cohoes, Watervliet, Rensselaer, Colonie, Scotia, Mechanicville, Nassau, Delmar, Latham, Guilderland, Niskayuna, Menands, Ravena, and Voorheesville. This includes the following highways... Interstate 88 near exit 25. Interstate 90 between exits 10 and 26. Interstate 890 between exits 1a and 9.
