...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM PDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central Nevada, including the following county, Nye. * WHEN...Until 815 PM PDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 401 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.4 and 0.8 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.4 inches are expected over the area. ...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM PDT THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of central Nevada, including the following county, Nye. * WHEN...Until 530 PM PDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 227 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated light to moderate rain falling due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in SR 376 near Carvers. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - SR 376 near Carvers is the most likely place to experience minor flooding. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1 to 0.2 inches are expected over the area.
