Widespread Moderate HeatRisk with areas of Major HeatRisk in lower valleys. * WHERE...Western Nevada Basin and Range including Pyramid Lake and Mineral and Southern Lyon Counties. * WHEN...From 11 AM Saturday to 8 AM PDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Heat-related illnesses will be more likely, especially for those spending extended periods outdoors, in poorly cooled indoor spaces, or who are sensitive to heat. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside.
