...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 AM PDT THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...West Central Clark County in southern Nevada... * WHEN...Until 730 AM PDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 328 AM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.25 and 0.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Spring Valley, The Strip, Enterprise, Mountains Edge, Paradise, Southern Highlands, Fremont Street, Summerlin, Green Valley, Lone Mountain, Blue Diamond, Anthem, East Las Vegas, Sam Boyd Stadium, Aliante, Centennial Hills and Nellis AFB. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
