Flash flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. && ...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH LATE SUNDAY NIGHT... * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall over and immediately downstream of burn scars is possible. * WHERE...A portion of central New Mexico, including the following area, South Central Mountains. * WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through late Sunday night. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff from area burn scars may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and storms will develop Sunday afternoon and persist into Sunday night over the Sacramento complex of burn scars.
