HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with strong winds up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Detected by National Weather Service meteorologists. IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel, especially on portions of I-10 nearing the Arizona border. Locations impacted include... Lordsburg, Steins, Cotton City, Road Forks, Lordsburg Playa, Granite Gap, Shakespeare, and Pyramid Mountains. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Dust storms lead to dangerous driving conditions with visibility reduced to near zero. If driving, avoid dust storms if possible.
