At 703 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16 miles west of Paradise Hills, or 19 miles west of Albuquerque, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Northwestern Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Corrales, Los Ranchos De Albuquerque, Paradise Hills, Cabezon, Northern Meadows, Rio Rancho Intel Area and Rio Rancho City Center. This includes Farmington, Shiprock, Bloomfield, Aztec, Dulce, Chama, Cuba, Los Alamos, Taos, Espanola, Angel Fire, Red River, Eagle Nest, Santa Fe, Glorieta, Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Sandia Crest, Sedillo, Belen, Los Lunas, and Socorro. * WHEN...Through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional rounds of showers and storms are likely later this afternoon through the overnight hours.
