* WHAT...High temperatures between 96 and 103 expected.

* WHERE...Northwest Plateau.

* WHEN...From noon to 8 PM MDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The hottest temperatures will occur along the
U.S. 64 and U.S. 491 corridors, including Bloomfield, Farmington,
Shiprock, and Newcomb.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
