For the second Heat Advisory, temperatures up to 101 expected. * WHERE...Middle Rio Grande Valley including the Albuquerque Metro Area, Sandia and Manzano Mountains including Edgewood, Northwest Plateau, and Espanola Valley. * WHEN...For the first Heat Advisory, until 8 PM MDT this evening. For the second Heat Advisory, from noon to 8 PM MDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The hottest temperatures in the low 100s will be along the San Juan and Rio Grande River Valleys. Record high temperatures are expected. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
