...FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM MDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Freezing temperatures as low as 28 expected. Temperatures
will get as low as 20 in the Upper Rio Grande Valley, resulting in
a hard freeze.

* WHERE...Estancia Valley, San Agustin Plains and Adjacent Lowlands,
Espanola Valley, Upper Rio Grande Valley, Far Northeast Highlands,
and Northwest Plateau.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM MDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.

To prevent water pipes from freezing, wrap, drain or allow them to
drip slowly.
