...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM MDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of Southern Dona Ana County in New Mexico, and northwestern El Paso County in West Texas, encompassing the Lower Mesilla Valley and El Paso's Upper Valley. * WHEN...Until 915 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Water flow in in normally dry arroyos. Water over roadways and low lying areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 608 PM MDT, Widespread showers and thunderstorms were rapidly developing across the Lower Mesilla Valley and the Upper Valley of El Paso. Around 0.5 to 1.0 inches has fallen in some areas. - This advisory covers a broad area, and Flash Flood Warnings may be issued for more localized areas as needed. - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
